Abstract
Durante los últimos años las bases de datos multidimensionales se han convertido en algo común en el mundo de los negocios y cientÃfico. En este trabajo se propone un modelo para la especificación formal de base de datos multidimensionales (BDMD) o cubos de datos, que nos permita a través de un proceso clasificar, filtrar información del área de docencia, seccionando los registros en ejes y capas. La meta que se pretende alcanzar a través de la propuesta de este modelo es la especificación formal del cubo de datos.References
